Labor and Employment Law Update as we start 2021
There were a lot of changes to labor and employment law in 2020, and not all of it was related to the COVID-19 pandemic. This presentation will discuss common COVID-19 employment law issues as well as other legal updates that occurred in 2020. Topics that will be covered include all things COVID-19, including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and CDC guidance, EEOC guidance, vaccine guidance, teleworking, federal emergency relief laws enacted, and other issues. Non-COVID-19 topics will include a Supreme Court update, legal trends in 2020, and updates regarding other regulatory guidance.
About our speaker:
David Klass is Of Counsel in the firm’s Charlotte office. His practice encompasses representing employers in a variety of employment matters in state and federal courts as well as matters prosecuted by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA). David has been quoted in SHRM, EHS Today, Bloomberg, and other national publications regarding topics ranging from wage and hour issues to workplace safety.
